Cancel your subscription

You can turn off auto-renew from Subscription without losing access right away. Paid features stay on until the current billing period ends. This article explains how to cancel, what changes on your account, and what to save before access lapses.

Cancel subscription vs delete account

Cancelling your subscription stops future charges. It does not delete your Delora account or gallery by itself.

Account deletion is a separate action in Settings. This article covers subscription cancellation only.

What to export before access ends

After your paid period ends, workspace limits drop to the Free tier. Premium templates, higher storage, and other paid features turn off. Your account and uploads remain, but you may not be able to use everything the same way.

Before you cancel, save anything you still need outside Delora.

  • Export portfolio PDFs from Gallery while your plan still includes PDF export
  • Download or back up gallery photos and polaroids you rely on for castings or clients
  • Note booking details or availability you may need if you return later
  • Download invoices from the Stripe billing portal if you need records for tax or expenses

How to cancel auto-renew

The product cancels at the end of your current billing period. You are not charged again unless you turn renewal back on.

  • Open Billing and tap Manage your subscription, or open Subscription directly
  • Tap Cancel subscription
  • Read the confirmation: you keep access until the end of the current period
  • Optionally choose a cancellation reason, then confirm

What happens after you cancel

Billing and Subscription show that auto-renew is off. You keep full paid access until the period end date shown on Subscription.

When the period ends, your subscription stops and paid workspace access ends. Billing may show Renew your plan so you can subscribe again. Your account data is not deleted automatically.

The Next payment card on Billing disappears because no further charge is scheduled.

Change your mind before the period ends

If you cancelled but the current period has not ended yet, open Subscription and tap Turn auto-renew back on.

Stripe turns renewal back on and your plan continues on the same billing cycle.

Return later or ask for help

You can start a new Lite or Pro subscription anytime from Billing after access lapses. Your login and stored data remain unless you delete the account.

For invoices, card updates, or billing questions after cancellation, use the Stripe billing portal or read Request a refund in this category if you need a payment review.

What to do next

Read Download invoices and receipts if you need billing documents before you leave.

Read Understand Lite and Pro plans if you are unsure which tier to pick when you renew.
