Enable two-factor authentication
Two-factor authentication adds a rotating six-digit code from your authenticator app on top of your password. Set it up from Privacy & Security in a short three-step wizard.
Open Privacy & Security
Open Settings and select Privacy & Security.
Find the Two-factor authentication (2FA) card.
The status line shows whether 2FA is enabled. Select Set up 2FA to start, or Manage 2FA if it is already on.
Set up 2FA
The setup wizard has three steps.
Step 1 introduces how 2FA works. Each sign-in also needs a code from your authenticator, not just your password. Select Continue to generate your secret.
Step 2 shows a QR code and a manual entry secret. Scan the QR in an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, 1Password, or Authy. If you cannot scan, tap the secret to copy it and add the account manually.
Step 3 asks you to confirm it works. Enter the six-digit Code from your app and select Enable 2FA.
When setup succeeds, Delora confirms that 2FA is enabled on your account.
- Use a trusted authenticator app on your phone or password manager
- Codes refresh about every 30 seconds
- Grab the newest code if the first attempt fails
Manage or disable 2FA
When 2FA is on, select Manage 2FA on the same card.
To turn it off, select Disable 2FA, enter the code from your authenticator, then select Turn off 2FA.
If you lost access to your authenticator, select Lost my code - send me a link by email. Delora emails a one-time link that expires in one hour.
Disabling 2FA reduces your account security. Keep it on unless you are switching to a new authenticator app.
When 2FA is required
After 2FA is enabled, Delora may ask for an authenticator code during sensitive changes such as updating your email.
See Change your email or password for the full email change flow.
If you notice unfamiliar sign-ins, review Review active sessions and sign out devices you do not recognize.
